Effects of Different Pre- sowing Treatments on Seed Germination of African Grape (Lannea microcarpa L.)

Over-exploitation coupled with adverse effect of increased human activities and lack standard plantation endangers the germination Lannea microcarpa seeds. An experiment was carried out to check different pre-sowing treatments on seed African Grape (Lannea L.). Pot trials conducted during dry season at Botanic garden, Department Plant Science Biotechnology, Faculty Life Science, Federal University Dutsin-Ma, Katsina State using completely randomized design (CRD). Seeds were subjected three concentrations sulphuric acid, hot water, cold physical treatment untreated as control analyzed independently obtain best periods.
